What I’ve seen on the road
Friends, here’s what the last week of this race looks like for me versus my opponent.
As Sen. Marshall calls in backup from President Trump and VP Vance and doubles down on his smear campaign, we’re going back to the basics: hopping on a bus and traveling across Kansas to actually listen to folks.
That’s the core promise of my campaign. The truth is, I’m not a career politician. I’m not interested in Washington’s political games. But I do know one thing: The most important job of a senator is to listen to Kansans and fight for what’s best for them. I’ve spent my whole career as a pastor listening to people from all walks of life — Republicans, Democrats and independents alike. That’s why I’m stopping everywhere I can across Kansas in the final days of this race.

In Hays, I heard Kansans talk about the challenges they’re facing. They told me how betrayed they feel by Sen. Marshall. They see a senator who rubber-stamps his party’s policies instead of being a champion for his constituents — and local communities are the ones bearing the cost.

In Olathe, I heard from small-business owners struggling to make ends meet under reckless tariffs and another war. They feel left behind by Washington insiders who stopped listening to Kansans long ago.
Folks everywhere are fired up and ready for a new kind of leadership, grounded in decency and a commitment to fight for working people, not corporate PACs or party bosses.

Along the way, I stopped for a town hall in Oakley. Nearly 20 months ago, Sen. Marshall walked out of a similar town hall here and called the Kansans there “dangerous.”
I took a different approach: I sat down and listened.
The truth is, I don’t always agree on everything with the people I talk to — after all, Kansas is a place full of differing opinions. But I’m committed to listening to folks — even when they see things a little differently. That’s the bare minimum we should be able to expect from our leaders.

Meeting Kansans on the road in this final stretch is so important, but it’s only half of the battle.
While I’m out campaigning, Roger Marshall and his allies in D.C. are busy too — pulling out all the stops to crush our momentum at the eleventh hour with attack ads and outright lies about me. We’re so close to the finish line — but while I’m on the road, we also need to make sure our ads stay on air until the last ballots are cast AND fully fund our get-out-the-vote efforts.
Kansas is thousands of miles away from the extreme politics of Washington. We’re smack-dab in the middle of the country. And I’ll lead from the middle, too. Because it’s time to heal the divisiveness in our politics — and it’s beyond time to finally deliver results for hardworking Kansans.
Now, let’s finish strong and win! I’m counting on you to have my back until the very end.
Thank you for being on board,
Adam
