Stephanie Grisham: I love my country more than my party.

As White House press secretary during President Trump’s first administration, I learned what really goes on behind the scenes in Washington. I saw the chaos, corruption and dishonesty up close, and I saw what it cost real people. Once you’ve seen that, you can’t unsee it.

I had a choice to make. When staying in the White House meant putting my political party and the president over my country, I resigned. Adam’s campaign caught my attention because he has the same conviction of putting country before party and people over politics, along with a long history of building bridges and bringing people together. And as a Kansas voter, that’s why he has my support.

What’s more, I’ve seen the polls showing he can win and the election experts shifting the race to a toss-up. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today asking you to support his campaign. With our help, Adam can flip this seat and get to work fixing what’s broken in Washington. If you’re with me, will you chip in anything you can spare or more now to help him win?

When I left the Trump White House, I moved to Kansas. After living here for the past five years, I consider myself a Kansan. And I work hard every day to live up to our values: to help my neighbors, live with honesty and integrity and make the world a better place for everyone.

I’ve watched Sen. Roger Marshall turn his back on my fellow Kansans. He’s a rubber stamp for the president. He’s refused to hold a town hall for over 500 days. And he spent thousands of dollars of taxpayer money on visits to his beach house in Sarasota, Florida. He’s more interested in serving himself and party bosses than the people of Kansas.

This is not the leader that Kansans need or deserve. We’re ready for a leader who knows we’re stronger when we work together. We’re ready for a leader who will live and lead with integrity, stand up to the corruption in Washington and put Kansans first.

Adam Hamilton is that leader. He’s a longtime pastor who has spent decades listening to Republicans, Democrats and Independents, thinking critically about how to make their lives better and standing up for them even when it’s hard. He’s independent-minded, and we need that kind of leadership now more than ever.

I believe Adam has what it takes to win and be the kind of champion that Kansans deserve, but he can’t do it alone. He doesn’t take any corporate PAC money, and with the GOP’s top super PAC launching a massive ad buy to turn voters against him, he needs supporters like you more than ever.
